Sumir Desai

Born in Los Angeles, raised in Cerritos, and currently residing in Brea, California, I bring more than two decades of experience and expertise to the mortgage industry. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Marketing from California State University, Fullerton, and have been serving homebuyers and homeowners in the mortgage industry since 2003. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with respected financial institutions, including U.S. Bank, Union Bank, Wells Fargo, and Washington Mutual, gaining valuable experience across a wide range of lending environments. Beyond my professional career, I am passionate about serving my community and building meaningful connections. I proudly serve as a Board Member of the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce and Lead Ambassador for its Membership Committee, as well as a Board Member of the Black Chamber of Orange County. I also serve as an active parent for Brea Boy Scout Troop 707, where I enjoy supporting and mentoring the next generation of leaders. I believe that successful homeownership is about more than securing a mortgage—it is about building a strong financial foundation for the future. I take pride in educating clients, guiding them through the lending process, and helping them make informed decisions that align with their homeownership and financial goals. Outside of work and community service, I enjoy traveling the world with my family, discovering great food, spending quality time with lifelong friends, and embracing the outdoors as an avid camping enthusiast. I also enjoy reading books focused on leadership, mentorship, and creating a meaningful quality of life.
