Experience
I have enjoyed being a part of the mortgage industry for the last 17 years in several markets. In that time, our industry experienced some incredible highs and historic lows from which I feel I have gained an immense amount of invaluable knowledge. During this time I have also been a home buyer several times. Although more familiar with the process than most, I too experienced the excitement and the emotional stress of trying to find the perfect home and the mortgage process. I have been in your shoes so to speak. My experiences as a mortgage professional and a client have helped me focus on the key points that ease the mortgage process and make such a positive difference. You can take comfort in knowing that I will offer you guidance, gladly answer all of your questions and communicate with you at every stage of your mortgage loan application.
Biography
I am a wife, mother, daughter, businesswoman and avid animal lover. Our dog Luna, cat Roxy and horse Flea are a huge part of our crazy wonderful family. As much as I love travelling, there is no place like home and it's my favorite place to be. Perhaps it is that very feeling, that lead my into my career in the mortgage profession. I started my career in banking however when I purchased my first home, I found myself very interested in mortgage process. It was several years later before I had the opportunity to work for an independent mortgage broker and truly experience all aspects of the mortgage process. I have been in the mortgage industry ever since! Having the right mortgage is a very important element of our finances. Whether it's walking a client through buying their first home, scaling down for retirement or structuring a refinance to lower the rate and term, fund a home improvement project or payoff debt; I am fully focused on placing my client in the best mortgage loan program to serve their financial needs. I serve the state of North Carolina. Living at the beach most of my life, I think salt water runs through my veins. A boater, fisher and diver being around water was my "happy place". Maybe I was a mermaid in another life. Ironically 11 years ago, I found the mountains of North Carolina so enchanting that I moved from my native South Florida with my then teenage daughter to Fleetwood, North Carolina where we had built a beautiful mountain retreat. A stark change yes! A welcomed slower pace, a breathtaking countryside, four beautiful seasons and the most crisp mountain air. It was a refreshing change. One of the beautiful features that North Carolina has to offer is that you have the mountains and the ocean within a five hour drive. After a few years of living in the mountains, we realized we really missed the salt air. So, in 2010 we moved just north of Wilmington on beautiful Topsail Sound, to the once fishing village of Hampstead, North Carolina. We love living on the coast and enjoy all the area has to offer as well are being just a few hours from the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.
My Philosophy
I believe in serving my clients with the kindness, integrity and professionalism that I would hope for. When we think of "home", I believe many feelings surface. Our home is our oasis, the place where we welcome family and friends, it's where we build memories and where our personal story unfolds. It is as unique and special as is each client. I value the opportunity to get to know and serve my clients, to understand their needs and work to meet their goals. Finding the perfect home is an exciting journey. I am here to make that journey as easy and stress-free as possible.

The Mortgage Bankers Association's Opens Doors Foundation and its Home Grant Program provides mortgage and rental payment assistance to families with critically ill or injured children, allowing families to be by a child's side during treatment.


The Cancer Support Community San Francisco Bay Area’s mission is to provide holistic integrative care services, free of charge, to individuals affected by cancer. This network of support can increase chances of survival while reducing chances of recurrence and ultimately provide for the highest possible quality of life.
