Who we are: In this disclosure, "we" means: CMG Mortgage, Inc. and its affiliates.

Purpose: Required by federal law, this disclosure is intended to inform you of:

• How your information is collected (our sources);
• How your information will be protected; and
• Our policy on sharing confidential information

This policy applies to you as a customer of CMG Mortgage, Inc.

By “Customer,” we mean a consumer (natural person) or their legal representative who meets any of the following characteristics:

• Prequalifies and/or applies for a mortgage loan with CMG Mortgage, Inc.
• Obtains a mortgage loan with CMG Mortgage, Inc.
• Has a mortgage loan that is purchased by CMG Mortgage, Inc.
• Has a mortgage loan that is serviced by CMG Mortgage, Inc.

Our Customer relationship with you continues, and out Policy Statement applies, until effectively terminated. Events of termination may include:

• You do not prequalify for a mortgage loan with CMG Mortgage, Inc.
• Your credit application for a mortgage loan with CMG Mortgage, Inc. is declined, cancelled or withdrawn.
• Your mortgage loan with CMG Mortgage, Inc. is sold to another investor, “servicing released.”
• CMG Mortgage, Inc. no longer acts as the servicer of your mortgage loan.

Terms used in this disclosure:

"Information" refers to nonpublic personal data, around the terms being defined:

• Reports and data that can identify you;
• That is not available publicly; and
• That we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you.

"Affiliates" are companies that are related to one another by ownership, common ownership, or control. For instance, if one company owns or controls another company, they are affiliates of each other.

"Non-affiliates" are companies that are not affiliated with another company, and it also refers to a person who is not an employee of a company.

"Opt-In," for California customers, is the right to elect to participate in an information sharing program for marketing purposes with non-affiliated third parties that is offered by CMG Mortgage, Inc. Currently, we do not offer such information sharing programs.

"Opt-Out" is a choice a person can make (in certain cases) to prevent a financial institution from disclosing their personal information with others. In this case, there is no need to Opt-Out as we do not disclose confidential information with third parties.

Joint Accounts: If you have or have had a joint account with us, you should relay this notice to the person who shares your account. He or she may not get a separate notice.

Sources for information: We collect information about you from the following sources:

• Information you might personally provide us on applications and other forms;
• Information about transactions we might conduct for you;
• Information about your transactions with affiliated third parties;

• Information about your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties; and
• Information from consumer reporting agencies.

We do not share your information with affiliated third parties or with non-affiliated third parties for marketing purposes and other instances except where it is a federal or state law requirement.
