Matching Gift Announced for Year End Campaign

Blog posted On December 21, 2016

There is still time to help out this holiday season.  The Cancer Support Community of the San Francisco Bay Area announced, “all gifts made during the Campaign for Hope (through December 31, 2016) will be matched dollar-for-dollar because of the generosity of Christopher George.”

Our CEO and Founder, Christopher M. George and the CMG Foundation have generously pledged a matching gift of up to $50,000 for the Campaign for Hope’s end of the year push.  The Cancer Support Community will serve 2,000 people next year and relies on donations like this for funding.

The Cancer Support Community provides comprehensive care such as counseling, support groups, nutrition, exercise, and patient education programs for cancer patients, their families, and their caregivers.  Their goal is to empower those who are affected by cancer with knowledge and support from the community.  The Cancer Support Community never turns anyone away and provides its services at no cost.

The CMG Foundation strives to deliver hope by making an impact in society and supporting non-profit organizations, like the Cancer Support Community, that are dedicated to improving the lives of those in need.

If you would like to contribute to the Campaign for Hope, please visit the Cancer Support Community’s website.
